General Spa Policies and FAQs

Appointment Check-In
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your first treatment for check-in. This allows you enough time to change and take advantage of our beautiful library area before your treatment begins. Sit, relax and unwind, and enjoy complimentary light refreshments.

Cancellation Policies & Fees
We require a 24-hour cancellation notice, otherwise a $40 fee per appointment will be charged on facials and massages and 50% for any waxing appointments. No shows are charged full price.

Scheduling an appointment is your acceptance of these policies. All services need a credit card to guarantee a reservation, so please have your Visa or MasterCard ready when booking.

Electronic Devices
Please respect the sanctuary we provide and turn off your cell phone and other electronic devices upon arrival.

Gift Cards
For any occasion, there is no better gift for a loved one, special friend or valued employee than the gift of relaxation. Gift cards are available in any dollar denomination. When purchasing a gift card, consider an amount to cover the treatment as well as our small amenities charge and gratuity so that the recipient has a complete worry-free visit.

Gift cards are not refundable or replaceable even if lost, misplaced or stolen. Gift cards are not valid for Aqua Salon or cosmetic medical services.

Effective 12/1/22, we accept $100 in SpaFinder/SpaWish certificates per person per visit. Promotions, sales, reward points and discounts cannot be combined with SpaFinder/SpaWish redemptions.

Please provide your SpaFinder or SpaWish certificate or card before you receive your service.

FAQs

Is parking a problem?

When planning your arrival time, please make sure you allow ample time for traffic and parking. We have several free unlimited-time parking areas very near The Spa, and we have a limited number of spaces behind our building – just look for signs designated for spa parking.

What should I bring?

Because robes, slippers and towels are provided, you do not need to bring any special clothing for your spa service. We also provide blow dryers, irons, brushes and other products in the lounges for your convenience, but you may want to bring your favorite makeup.

What should I do with my personal belongings?

The Spa provides you with a personal locker and key. Regretfully, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items. We will ask you to remove your jewelry before any spa service – it may be best to leave your valuables at home to ensure its security and your peace of mind.

What should I wear during my service?

Most people will undress completely for facial, massage and body therapy treatments. Proper and conservative draping techniques are always observed during our treatments and robes are provided for all our guests to use during their time here. However, if it makes you more comfortable, you can wear undergarments.

What should I tell my therapist?

Disclosing any medical conditions or prescription medication you are using before your service begins is very important. Allergies, pregnancy, high blood pressure, etc. may be affected by certain services.

Communication with your therapist is encouraged. For example, if the pressure of your massage is too light or too deep, let your therapist know. You should also let them know if you want them to focus on or avoid certain areas (such as ticklish or sore spots). Feel free to voice any questions or concerns; treatment time is your time.

I’m pregnant, can I still enjoy services at The Spa?

Pregnant women in their first trimester and women with a high-risk pregnancy should avoid many types of spa treatments. If you are pregnant, be sure to tell the Spa Hostess when booking any appointments. They will know which treatments are suitable. Always check with your obstetrician before going to any day spa.

Do you accept gratuities?

Gratuities are always appreciated! We prefer gratuities be in the form of cash. Typically, when you receive a gift card, gratuity is not included. Gratuity envelopes are available at the front desk at the time of check out for your convenience – tips should not be dealt with in the treatment room.

What is the Amenities Fee?

We charge a small percentage on top of all services to help cover the costs of maintaining the highest possible quality staff, products and extras that we provide that are above and beyond many other spas.
